D4S Health and Safety – Construction & Event Safety Across the UK

David, our lead health and safety consultant and managing director is based in Plymouth, with a varied background. Upon leaving the RAF in 2011 he pursued a career in health and safety. Since then he has worked in Aviation, Logistics, Construction, and Events. David is NEBOSH qualified, holds an L6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and is a chartered member of IOSH.

David developed his construction experience as a H&S Advisor for Balfour Beatty on projects of £100M+ and then working as the H&S manager for the South West number 1 property maintenance company, WMS. Due to the vast amount of experience working in construction, this puts D4S as a leading health and safety consultant in the UK where we can work for property maintenance companies along with tier 1 construction firms.

David sits on the IOSH Sports Grounds and Events Committee as joint vice chair, which has put him in a good place to oversee the largest mass participation event in the southwest, the Plymouth Half Marathon along with other running events acting as lead safety advisor.
